Training Opportunities

Training is a vital component as Murray Ridge staff strive to maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge.  Therefore, we maintain an extensive on-going program of training and orientation for both our Agency and the community in the following four areas.

Upcoming DODD Approved Training Inservices

Inservices are provided on a variety of topics to enhance staff knowledge and maintain licensure and certification status. These inservices are conducted throughout the year on weekends and weekday evenings.

DODD Seminars & Courses

The agencies listed here offer the DODD courses and seminars that are required for staff certification and registration.

Lorain County Board of DD - Annual Inservice Day

Each year, the Murray Ridge Center holds a one day Inservice of training and recognition for all Agency Staff. As plans are finalized for speakers and breakout sessions, information will be posted. Following the Inservice Day, an evaluation report will be shared with staff, as well as plans for the next Inservice Day.
