Preschool
Preschool classes for children with disabilities are held in half day and full day sessions four days a week at Murray Ridge School throughout the school year. The emphasis is on cognitive, social and emotional development, as well as communication, gross motor and self-help skills.
The program integrates typically developing three and four year old children four days a week. Many play-based, developmentally appropriate activities help the children learn from each other.
Busy preschool days include classes for:
· Music
· Art
· Physical and Occupational Skills Training
· Instruction in Communication and Assisted Technology Use
· Behavioral Assistance
· Adaptive Aquatics
· Recreational Skill Development
